An excellent opportunity has arisen with a well-established storage and logistics company based in South West London.  The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the sales and sales administration associated with supply and material only products. Also, one or more European languages would be preferred (ideally German, French, Spanish, Italian)
Hours of business : Monday to Friday, 8.30 : 5pm. There is some flexibility to the position, i.e; if this suited a person looking for a 4 day week they would be open to this.

Responsibilities and duties for the role will include:

  • Preparing proposals within the quote model for supply / material only projects and maintaining up to date records within the CRM system
  • Initiating the handover process for construction projects for sales people that are not office-based by preparing the handover file and passing it to the Operations Department
  • Preparing sales orders for all supply/ material only projects by winning projects on the CRM, preparing the handover file and updating NAV accordingly
  • Liaising with supply/ material only customers from receipt of order to project delivery
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure supply/ material only projects are completed successfully including production, logistics and finance
  • Following up with customers/ resellers to ensure that all quoted projects are accurate and up to date on the CRM sales pipeline
  • Raising invoices and credit notes for supply/ material only projects
  • Updating budgets and works orders in NAV for supply only projects and completing monthly variance and project completion reports
  • Sending out confirmation emails to supply only customers and managing any aftersales feedback
  • Presenting the current status of all supply only projects in the weekly operations meeting
  • Maintaining records of any manufactured goods requiring production codes, for both construction and supply only projects
  • Preparing weekly proposal reports for finance / other office
  • Supporting the sales team as needed
  • Answering the telephones : reception and general office cover where needed

Key Attributes / Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with clients, sales, finance, production, logistics and the factory
  • A friendly, outgoing nature would be a real asset here : enjoying talking to customers on the phone is a must!
  • Knowledge of a CRM or similar would be preferred
  • A working understanding of our ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Navision, would be preferred
  • To be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • One or more European languages would be preferred (ideally German, French, Spanish, Italian)

Salary: £23000 - £25000 Per Annum
